Bey Group Talk to us

Asked before most calls

The things worth knowing first.

What happens on the call?

About twenty minutes. You describe the situation, we tell you what we recommend, and if an agent would help we give you a name and the reason behind it. No credit pull, nothing signed.

How is this different from a listing appointment?

A listing appointment is built to win your business, and the number you hear is calibrated to that. We start with your situation instead — and sometimes the recommendation is wait, refinance, or call your servicer first.

Who is actually representing me?

Usually the agent we introduce you to — they handle the negotiation and the paperwork and owe you fiduciary duties. Where representing you directly is the better fit, we can do that instead, under a written agreement signed first.

Why fifteen years, specifically?

Fifteen years means an agent has worked a rising market, a stall and a correction — a different skill from selling into rising demand. It's our own criterion, not a certification or a guarantee.

What if I'm behind on payments, or owe more than it's worth?

Say so early and it gets handled first. Several routes exist and only some are a sale — others run through your servicer, a modification, or an attorney. If you have a recorded sale or auction date, tell us; those go to the front of the queue.

Do you handle the mortgage side too?

Not through this brokerage — Bey Group Real Estate, Inc. does not originate mortgage loans. Our founder is separately licensed as a mortgage loan originator, NMLS #2033637, with Altitude Home Loans, an unaffiliated lender; the Home loans link on this site goes to his page there. Using him, or Altitude, is entirely optional, this brokerage is paid nothing if you do, and choosing any other lender never changes what we do for you.
